Wild Side of the Mountain Sanctuary is a nonprofit 501c3 wildlife sanctuary.
Our sanctuary recently moved to Western Washington State from the State of California.
We are a wildlife rehabilitation center that takes in injured and abandon wildlife, offering medical treatment, care, housing and rehabilitation with the goal of successfully releasing the animal back into the wild. Presently if an animal cannot be released, it is placed into a long term facility; however it is our goal to create a long term, interactive housing facility for wildlife in need of permanent care and housing.

In addition to our rehabilitation efforts we will be restarting our wildlife education program, offering hands on learning activities to youth groups, schools and upon request covering an area from Seattle, WA to Portland, Or.

Values Statement

1.)   To practice compassion, patience and honesty in all our dealings with wildlife, the animals permanetly at our sanctuary and the public.

2.)   To provide a safe haven for our sanctuary residents. To place the needs, housing, food, medical care and emotional wellness of each animal before anything else we may do.

3.) To meet our goal of offering a unique interactive environment to all our animals and our guests.

4.)   To educate the public to the best of our ability.

We are presently raising funds and/or seeking donations to purchase fencing and building materials so that we may begin building our new enclosures for wildlife in need of our care and/or permanent housing and for our educational ambassadors that take part in our educational programs.
